Day 01

AIRPORT – NEGOMBO

Day 02

Negombo – Unawatuna

Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning - Transfer from Negombo to Unawatuna.

Day 03

UNAWATUNA

After Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning, you can star your second day in Unawatuna by visiting a nearby turtle hatchery & town of Galle. Galle is rich with colonial architecture, vibrant cultural heritage & view over the Indian Ocean. In addition, walk throughout the Galle fort to spend your afternoon experiencing delightful foods and colonial architecture


You can spend your evening by the beach where you can watch a stunning sunset over the horizon of the Indian Ocean.

Day 04

UNAWATUNA - UDAWALAWE

After Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning, today it's time to have a wildlife experience to the journey in Udawalawe National Park, where you will go on a jeep safari.


Udawalawe National Park Safari offers an exciting wildlife adventure in Sri Lanka's Udawalawe National Park, renowned for its large elephant population. Day 05

UDAWALAWE – ELLA

Today you will drive on to the beautiful town of Ella. Ella is a charming town nestled in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, known for its breathtaking views, lush greenery, and cool climate. Surrounded by tea plantations, waterfalls, and hills,

Popular attractions include the Nine Arches Bridge, Ella Rock, and Diyaluma Falls. With its relaxed atmosphere, scenic hikes, and picturesque landscapes, Ella has become a must-visit destination for travelers looking to experience Sri Lanka's natural beauty.

Day 06

ELLA, LITTLE ADAMS PEAK

Start your second day in Ella with a delicious breakfast, ready for a day of exploration.

The area offers hikes of varying difficulty, with one of the more challenging routes being the trek to Ella Rock. Alternatively, you can take a more moderate hike to Little Adam’s Peak, where the sunset views are truly mesmerizing. Afterward, relax at the top and enjoy the serene landscape.

Day 07

ELLA – KITHULGALA (TRAIN RIDE)

KITHULGALA - RIVER RAFTING – KANDY

After a good night's sleep start your adventurous day.

Day 09

KANDY

Day 10

KANDY – KNUCKELS

After Breakfast From the hotel start the journey towards Knuckles Mountain Range.

Day 11

KNUCKLES TREKKING

Today you will discover Knuckles with your backpack with something to eat and drink.

Day 12

KNUCKLES – SIGIRIYA

After Breakfast From the hotel start the journey to Sigiriya.


So far you have experienced different parts of Sri Lanka, En route to Sigiriya you will visit this unique Buddhist temple which is a complex of five cave temples carved into a large rock face. Dating back to the 1st century BCE, the temple is known for its stunning collection of Buddhist murals and over 150 statues of Buddha, including a massive reclining Buddha. The caves are adorned with intricate paintings depicting the life of the Buddha and various Buddhist deities. Set amidst lush surroundings, the temple offers not only spiritual significance but also a glimpse into Sri Lanka's rich cultural and architectural heritage.

Day 13

Sigiriya

After Breakfast From the hotel start the Adventurous day.


First Climb the Sigiriya Rock, also known as the Lion's Rock, is a massive ancient rock fortress located in central Sri Lanka. Rising 200 meters above the surrounding plains, it was once the site of a royal palace built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century. The rock is famous for its breathtaking views, intricate frescoes, and the remnants of a fortified palace. At the base, the iconic "Lion's Paw" entrance leads visitors up a steep staircase to the summit, where you can explore the ruins. Sigiriya is not only a marvel of engineering and architecture but also a UNESCO World Heritage site, rich in historical and cultural significance.

Day 14

Sigiriya

After Breakfast From the hotel start the 3rd with visiting the old royal city of Polonnaruwa. This is the third oldest city in Sri Lanka (1070 AD).


The Polonnaruwa Kingdom, which thrived from the 11th to 13th centuries, was the second capital of ancient Sri Lanka, following the fall of Anuradhapura. It became a prosperous center of culture, religion, and administration under kings such as Parakramabahu I, who oversaw the construction of grand reservoirs, temples, and impressive architectural feats. The kingdom is renowned for its well-preserved ruins, including the stunning Gal Vihara rock temple with its ancient Buddha statues, and the vast Parakrama Samudra reservoir.


Before visiting ancient kingdom stop by the Minneriya National Park to do a safari which offers an exciting opportunity to explore Sri Lanka’s rich wildlife, particularly its famous elephant herds. The park is known for the annual "Gathering," when hundreds of elephants gather around the Minneriya Tank during the dry season. Safari tours take visitors through the park’s diverse landscapes, including grasslands, forests, and wetlands, where they can spot a variety of animals such as deer, leopards, and numerous bird species.


Afterwards, explore the city tour by bike which offers a unique experience.

Day 15, 16 and 17

Trincomalee, beach stay ⛱

You travel from Sigiriya to the east coast to beautiful Trincomalee for a wonderful beach-stay.


There is a lot to do in Trincomalee. Where you can Visit Fort Frederic, which is a Dutch fort in Sri Lanka. At the fort you can also walk up to the beautiful Koneswaram Hindu shrine perched on a cliff overlooking the sea.


You can also visit Pigeon Island National Park which consists of 2 islands. You will find beautiful coral reefs, turtles, sharks and dolphins that you will all see and snorkel. This is definitely recommended.

Day 18

Trincomalee – Negombo

After Breakfast From the hotel and Leave to Negombo for your final day.

This is a somewhat longer ride, If you are still full of energy after arriving in Negombo, you can take a city tour or visit the beach for a game of beach volleyball. Tonight we will eat a nice local curry.


Tomorrow you fly back to the Netherlands.

Day 19

NEGOMBO - AIRPORT

As your beautiful adventure in Sri Lanka comes to an end, take a final moment to soak in the island's charm. From the golden beaches of Negombo to the lush green landscapes and vibrant culture, Sri Lanka has given you unforgettable memories. Your driver will take you back to the airport, where you'll board your flight home, carrying with you the warmth of Sri Lanka's hospitality and the serenity of its natural beauty.
